A 5-week course based on the book by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. This will be a deeper exploration of mindfulness-awareness and incorporate both practice and study during each class. Newcomers and experienced meditators are welcome. Participants are urged to purchase the book, which is in paperbook, before the first class. Cost is $60.

An Introduction to Ayurveda Workshop
Ayurveda literally means the science of life. It was brought into being by the sages (rishis) in India thousands of years ago and offers timeless wisdom in all areas of health and well-being. Its principles and practices are as applicable today as they were at its origin.
Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga. It was traditional in India to study Ayurveda before taking up the practice of yoga, in that only when the body was healthy and strong was a person considered ready to study the spiritual science of yoga.
After a brief overview of its history and philosophy, we will explore the basic principles of Ayurveda with an emphasis on its practical application to your daily life.

This workshop is a practical introduction to the practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation. It will include formal instruction in sitting and walking meditation, guided visualizations on the body and breath, and contemplations. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. It is designed for anyone who is interested in exploring or deepening the practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation.

This unheated Vinyasa clinic will focus on the four poses that compose the Vinyasa transition: Down Dog, Plank, Chatturanga, and Up Dog. The goal is for students to gain a deeper feeling of correct alignment and proper form, so that the transition can be taken in a flowing, graceful manner during class. This workshop is also open to students who are currently practicing Stationary Sequence who want to learn about our Vinyasa approach. 11:30-12:45pm
